Stratford Riverside Wayfinding Strategy
Project Overview
epd was commissioned to collaborate with Design with Nature to develop a comprehensive Signage Strategy for Riverside Park in Stratford. The primary objective was to establish a clear hierarchy of access routes, ensuring that various types of signs would be strategically positioned for different purposes at key locations throughout the park.
Signage Strategy: Riverside Park Stratford Upon Avon: Riverside South
The aim is to create interpretation boards and signage of a striking and uniform design across the whole
park both north and south of the river. Different signs are used for different purposes at key locations throughout
the park.
The project involved designing a series of interpretation boards and signage that would not only be visually striking but also maintain a uniform aesthetic across the entire park, encompassing both the northern and southern areas of the river. These signs were crafted to enhance the visitor experience by providing clear, informative, and attractive guidance, ensuring that everyone could easily navigate the park and appreciate its natural beauty and amenities.
